Sip Resturant in Leesburg

I am writing this as three stars but not because of the food. I think there are much better places to eat food was terrible. But the ambiance is amazing.. the place has so many romantic features.. they were just starting to have entertainment there, very elegant woman singing..voice was beautiful.. the restaurant is name correctly "Sips" and would be a very intimate place to go.. to have conversation, drinks and just chill.. very relaxing atmosphere.. I loved it.. I would be back for that! Wait staff both on the bar side and in the lounge we're very articulate, experienced, super friendly to meet your needs..

Great service, low crowds, good food, fair prices, good menu.

The entire atmosphere was perfect! The live band was engaging but not overly so. Thanks to The Big Bad! The range of music was impressive as well. The hostess took our temperature upon arrival, which is to be expected. The waiter was friendly and informative without being the center of attention. The food is very pricey but it was also flavorful and fresh as well as cooked perfectly to order. Not a large menu variety though. Our drinks were kept up with in a timely manner and our dirty dishes never lingered. My husband was a little put off by the Brandy he ordered not being the proper glass that lets it breath but it was easily corrected. My only complaint was when the band was ending their time on stage, a group of already inebriated older folks came in. They gave the place a more club or bar type feeling with all their hooting and hollering. The dancing they did was disturbing and raunchy. It ruined the flavor of an otherwise tasteful evening.

We went into Sips as a large unexpected group. Everyone was very nice and welcoming.

Disappointing. The concept is wonderful. The room and ambiance was very nice. The servers were great but the food failed at every turn. The French onion soup the broth was bland and the onions undercooked. The braised beef ravioli was not done. And like the old commercial where's the beef. The bechemel sauce was pasty with no other flavor. All and all disapointing

A bit expensive, the decor is nice inside for an old town. I went during bike fest so maybe the food os better without so many people around? I don't like leaving low stars by one visit. The waiter from NY was nice to us.

We love SIP. Not a lot of places locally where you can enjoy good food, good wine and live music in a pleasing and comfortable atmosphere. The servers who helped us were terrific- and I should mention the prices were fair and reasonable. We particularly enjoy singer Paula Baker. Highly recommended!

Went here this past week for lunch with friends. Nice place. Our waiter was great even though he was working alone, and did the best he could. We all enjoyed our meals. Only complaint is-get the guy some help!

Went on a busy evening as it was Mardi Gras in Leesburg. Kudos to Lloyd who was an amazing waiter! We had a large party and he went above and beyond.

Employee Christmas party. Tables well laid out. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Food presentation asms taste was very good. Cozy and good for date night!

Great restaurant! Perfectly located in downtown Leesburg. Sat at an outside table with friends. I ordered the pork shank which was perfectly prepared. A great evening, delicious food and excellent service.

The entertainment was wonderful! And the key lime pie was absolutely spectacular! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place and great atmosphere. Our food was BAD. Cold lobster ravioli and Luke warm beef ravioli. 2 of us had French onion soup. Luke warm and flavorless. One person did not eat hers other person added salt and did eat it then got very sick 2 hours later. Felt very sorry for the waitress she had to know but kept a great attitude. NOTE. We were that at Christmas and food was amazing NOT now

Bike fest. Limited menu. The chicken sandwich was or seemed like microwaved. Not color and the meat was very bland. The burgers where probably cooked the same way. We had a party of 8 people, not one of us where happy with the food. Service was good, friendly staff. But $12.50 for microwaved chicken with chips and coleslaw. I don't care to go back.

This is our Cheers. Paula is great. John with her makes Thursday night even better. Managers are tops . Nice atmosphere, great food and friendly, efficient servers makes this THE place to be. Nowhere else like it.

We had date night tonight. Phil was our server, he was engaging and funny. The food was very good. We enjoyed the jazz singer, she had sultry voice, very good dinner entertainment. A very enjoyable evening.

We had a spectacular lunch at Sip Restaurant today. The brie and cranberry sandwich was amazing. They use all fresh locally-grown produce, so the salads are crisp and delicious.The service was attentive, helpful and friendly.We are looking forward to our return trip.

Very nice dinner tonight with out of town guests. Great music, Joe Hand, great wait staff, Erin, so friendly and helpful. Excellent dinner, beautifully cooked and presented.

I've been to Sip twice. Once with my husband with super food and service. Then for my Birthday with my family. There were 16 in the party. The food was great, service a bit slow on one end of our table but not unreasonably. Music was fun my 11 year old and 6 year old grands were the only children. They had a ball, danced the whole night. Food very good. The group as a whole thought it was a wonderful choice. (mine).

the music was great, atmosphere great, our server was slow and the steaks were over cooked. We’ll give it another try, maybe order something other than steak and hope for a different server.

Good food,service and entertainment

Our group of 26+ showed up at the same time and all were seated and served in a very timely fashion. Good was pretty good too.

Great drinks and The sirloin steak was delious..intertainment was great..lots of fun..

Don't go at lunch time if you don't have time to spend 90 minutes.They rarely have more than one server, the owner will walk through, but doesn't seem to care that the service is extremely slow. Asked for a lemon with my iced tea was told "I don't have time to cut one". Really? Food is ok. Atmosphere is nice and you'll have plenty of time to enjoy it because you will be there forever.

I consider this an outstanding eating and jaz experience. Would definitely recommend it to all my friends.

Went on a Saturday night and they had live music which was good. Service was friendly and prompt from the hostess to the servers. Had the lobster ravioli, it was good but it was lukewarm. Probably would've tasted better had it come out hotter. The bruschetta was good also a bit too much tomato for my taste. Garden salad with blue cheese dressing was good but again the food temp was off, the salad should've been cold but it was lukewarm as well. A lil pricey for the quality of food we received.

Arrived at 9:30 on a Saturday night and was told the Kitchen was closed and that they were closing at 10. I mentioned that the sign on the door stated they were open until 11 and was told that they actually closed at 10 but people might filter out by 11. The lady in the front said that we should be there by 9 if you wanted anything. I guess closing at 11pm really means 9pm. Besides that...the music playing seemed good and the 2 people in the restaurant seemed amused.

Excellent place to chill Big Ben the owner is awesome cat. There is a live jazz artist on weekends the open flow of the place is impressive. My cousins Phill is the manager "say California sent me"

I went to this place twice. The place is also a restraunt. I came to listen to the music but was disappointed. I was expecting a li ve jazz bad but instead it was karekoe of sorts. On Wendsay the musician sang and played electric guitar over a background track and then Friday and Saturday another guy sang 80% off the time and the other 20% played a sax almost always using a background track. I am not saying that they were not good but this was not my expectation. Atmosphere is nice and the staff was very friendly. I did overhear a table complaining to the waiter about not getting their drinks for 20 minutes but the place was busy at the time.
